Job Description
- Work with members of the Navikenz/client teams building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
- Collaborate with/contribute to a cross-functional team including product and design and planning/design/implementation activities as part of solution realization.
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
- Design and implement scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
- Develop and maintain internal software tools, accelerators, platforms.
- Support, troubleshoot and debug software in production.
- Identify bottlenecks, and improve continuously software performance, reliability, and overall quality.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Create, maintain & improve design/technical documentation, manuals, how-to guides, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming.
- Design Principles: In-depth knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Frameworks: Extensive experience with Flask or FastAPI for developing RESTful services. Familiarity with Django is a plus.
- Databases: Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Front-end: Proven experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Full Stack Development: Proven experience in both front-end and back-end development.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on coding expertise with a focus on quality and performance.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with anyone of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of database design and management (SQL).
