Cluster Credit Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Evaluate credit proposals, conduct thorough credit analysis, and make recommendations based on risk assessment.
• Monitor the credit portfolio across the assigned cluster to ensure loan quality, mitigate risks, and ensure timely collections and recovery.
• Ensure strict adherence to credit policies and procedures, ensuring that all credit decisions are compliant with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
• Provide training and continuous support to the credit team, ensuring they stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• This role requires frequent travelling across the cluster.

Preferred candidate profile

• Language: Kannada Language Mandatory (read & write).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, A Masters degree or relevant certification MBA is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in credit risk management.
• Experience in secured and unsecured business loan in rural segment with NBFCs will carry extra weight.
