Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Purchase to join our team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, developing purchasing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships to ensure seamless procurement operations.

This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements while ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the procurement of materials and services in alignment with company needs and policies.

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure competitive deals.

- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock.

- Coordinate with internal departments including production, finance, and logistics to align purchasing decisions with business objectives.

- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the procurement function.

Qualifications

- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in purchasing and procurement management.

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

- Prior experience in the finance or fund administration industry is an advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
