Job Description

Take on an influential role, where you ll own a product vision and roadmap for Data Quality and Reference Data, and contribute to the wider Data Management vision

What youll do

As a Data Management Product & Operations Lead, you ll bring the point of view of our customers, end users or stakeholders to the forefront of understanding the product vision. With exceptional leadership skills, you ll drive your team towards this vision, regularly stopping along the way to check-in, adjust, calibrate and move forward.

We ll also look to you to make sure that stories and enablers meet the acceptance and quality criteria, keeping them in-line with the vision, features and programme increment objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Controlling and owning your team s Data Quality and Remediation backlog content authority and helping break down features into stories and priorities
Delivering insights to our customers and colleagues regarding data management outcomes and data quality risk
Developing our reference data operations strategy and team
Partnering with Data Architecture to develop and prioritise data management in our cloud first approach
You should be hands on tech leader with expertise on Cloud, AWS
Influencing and delivering on our data management strategy
Working with enterprise architects and teams to understand and prioritise the enablers
Tracking and reporting progress, and attending any retrospective spanning all delivery teams that are involved with the team s key deliverables

The skills youll need

We re looking for a creative thinker and an established leader, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team. You ll need to be able to relate your everyday work to the broader strategic vision of your feature team, along with the ability to maintain a strong focus on business outcomes. And, you ll have excellent communication and influencing skills.

Additionally, we ll expect you to have:

Extensive data management and architecture knowledge, with experience of designing and delivering data strategy
Knowledge of product development and management techniques
Experience of changing team or department mind-sets, culture and structure
A background of working with delivery teams and knowledge of collaboration techniques
The ability to motivate, actively engage and communicate with colleagues at all levels
