Technical Lead - Data Operations (8-13 yrs)

Job Description :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Implement the cloud (Azure) database warehouse system, manage the development and implementation of the data model, and support the leads as they begin to use the database

- Has good hands-on experience on Azure Data bricks, Azure Synapse analytics, Azure Data Factory

- Has good command on Python, SQL, PL SQL

- Drive all related parties in projects to timely completion with high quality

- At least 8 years of Microsoft technology stack, including data integration, collaboration and business Intelligence tools and their underlying technologies (SQL Server, SSIS, SharePoint, Visual Studio)

- On-going management, collection of the data asset including liaising with the technical teams, 3rd party consultancies/developers and suppliers of data

- Good in people and conflict management

- Create user stories & tasks based on the requirement

- Add function & technical notes to the user stories and provide estimation

- Capable of delivering individual capacity as well as team player. Actively perform all project management duties.

- Build upon the existing capability base of the company to support the increasing skill requirements

- Preparation of prospective datasets for analysis. Valuation of data asset, categorizing and organizing data for optimal storage and future analysis.

- Development improvement of data to support continuous evolution of a more competitive analysis.

- Data modelling, profiling, and cleansing techniques

- Building data dictionary and be the go-to person for any data enquiry.

- At least 5 years of Azure Data factory implementation experience with detailed understanding of all configuration and components to build DWH from scratch

- Ensure systems, practices, and data content supports business objectives and individual users.

- Development experience with tools like Power BI for dashboard creation is a plus

- Other ad-hoc duties & projects assigned as the role continues to grow and evolve

- Develop a process template for project operating procedures.

- Business analysis and solution design.
