HIRING FOR THE POSITION OF PROJECT MANAGER IN MODERN EDUCATION SOCIETY WADIA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (MES) FOR PUNE CAMPUS.

I. The Background:

• ­ At the MES there are several heritage structures.
• ­ There are old buildings which are due for reconstruction.
• There are plans for new constructions in existing campuses.
• ­ The MES also owns 21 acres of land on which there is a plan for development of an integrated campus.

II. Qualification: B. Arch / M. Arch. / BE Civil / ME Civil Engineering

III. Experience: 10+ years in appropriate field

• Job Description:

1) Person should be able to deliver the services on the basis of Cost, time, quality and safety
parameters.

2) Good knowledge of Statutory norms of AICTE, DTE, NEP, UGC & NAAC w.r.t. infrastructural
requirements.

3) Should be able to plan a project using MSP / Prima Vera software.

4) Liasoning knowledge w.r.t. heritage buildings.

5) Knowledge and experience of RCC designing.

6) Knowledge of building norms & regulations like FSI & FAR.

7) Good network with government departments.

8) Strong in relationship building.

9) Willing to travel extensively.

10) Knowledge & understanding of land records.

11) Coordination with Lawyers & legal dept for deed conveyance, Leave & License agreements,
land encroachment/ dispute matters etc.

12) Knowledge of preparation & submission of budgets for repair, maintenance and execution of
new projects.

13) Prepare & present MIS reports to the Management.

14) Should be able to prepare drawing & handle design coordination.

15) To act as a single point contact for all executional issues.

16) Coordination with internal & external agencies (RCC, Architect, landscape consultant, HR,
contractors, finance dept etc.)

• Skills :

i) Good communication & presentable personality

ii) Mature to handle and encourage team members.

iii) Handle the grievances of team members

iv) Very good IT skills

v) Easily approachable
