Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account professional to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with Indian accounting standards and taxation laws. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and be proficient in MS Excel & Tally

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting transactions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliance reports as per Indian tax laws.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including finalization of accounts.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Handle vendor payments, payroll processing, and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Support audit processes by coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally
• Generate MIS reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Stay updated with changes in Indian accounting standards, GST laws, and tax regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (B.Com /M.Com) or CA Inter
• 2 years+ of accounting experience with Indian companies.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Proficiency in Tally.
• Hands-on experience in filing GST, TDS, and other tax returns.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing, service, or trading company.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, audit processes, and statutory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
