Responsibilities:

PRT/TGT Computer Science Teacher:

• Teach Computer Science to primary and middle school students (Grade 1-8), following the prescribed curriculum.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans and practical activities to introduce students to computer basics and coding fundamentals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Help students develop problem-solving skills and encourage them to explore technology creatively.
• Monitor students' progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to ensure growth.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate computer skills across the curriculum.
• Introduce students to the basics of programming languages, hardware, and software applications.
• Provide additional support to students who need extra help with classwork or assignments.

PGT Computer Science Teacher:

• Teach advanced Computer Science topics to senior students (Grade 9-12), including programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and system architecture.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans, including both theoretical and hands-on practical components.
• Guide students through projects and assignments, helping them understand real-world applications of computer science.
• Conduct assessments, examinations, and evaluations to track student progress and prepare them for board exams.
• Foster independent thinking and problem-solving through coding challenges, projects, and simulations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in technology and computer science education.
• Encourage students to participate in programming competitions and hackathons to further their skills.

Computer Science Lecturer (College Level:

• Deliver advanced Computer Science courses, such as data structures, algorithms, computer networks, databases, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, to undergraduate students.
• Design and teach both theoretical lessons and practical lab sessions, providing students with industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
• Supervise students' research projects, assignments, and presentations, offering mentorship and guidance.
• Prepare students for professional certification exams and encourage them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic research, and department activities.
• Conduct assessments, assignments, and practical evaluations to measure student progress.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of computer science principles, including programming, software development, algorithms, and databases.
• Ability to teach complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
• Familiarity with modern computer science tools, platforms, and applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle diverse learners.
• Knowledge of using technology to enhance teaching and learning (e.g., online tools, coding platforms).
• Ability to assess and provide feedback that helps students improve and succeed.
• Enthusiastic about staying updated with new technologies and incorporating them into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• PRT/TGT Computer Science Teacher:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is a must.
• [2-5] years of teaching experience at the primary or secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• PGT Computer Science Teacher/ Computer Science Lecturer :
• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is a must.
• [3-5] years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting.
• Familiarity with CBSE or equivalent curriculum.
