Senior Executive - Internal Audit & Cost Control

Role & responsibilities

• Perform and control the full internal audit cycle including risk management and control mgmt over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Validation of Bank payments w.r.t to GST
• Interest calculations for advances received from customers and for delayed posessions
• Perform and critically evaluate the internal process/control of all departments in the organisation
• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Assist in year end finalisation of accounts & statutory audit activties, preparation of master files after sign of balance sheets of group companies

Preferred candidate profile

Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years as a CA/CA Inter or similar role

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures

In-depth understanding of GAAP

Experience with accounting ERP Software generally used in real-estate industry
