Senior Staff Engineer (Python)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, Boto3, SQLAlchemy, and LangChain
• Experience writing unit tests to ensure robust, high-quality code.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, resilient programming, and self-correcting code.
• Hands-on experience with Swagger, JSON, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Experience using tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Co-Pilot, and Vector Search.
• Capability to mentor and enable the team to adopt AI-first development approaches.
• Experience coding for AWS services like S3, SQS, and DynamoDB using Boto3
• Basic understanding of container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring logs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Experience with multiple APIs, particularly with Python-focused integrations.
• Familiarity with integrating Microsoft or third-party data sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the team to design and develop new APIs for various data sources.
• Develop resilient, scalable, and distributed microservices.
• Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable Python code adhering to best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration and proper documentation using Swagger.
• Utilize Generative AI and LLMs to create innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Leverage AWS services for building and maintaining cloud-native applications.
• Conduct basic container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Monitor and maintain application health using tools like Datadog.
• Act as a mentor to team members, fostering an AI-first approach within the development team.
