Job Description
- Design and build responsive and mobile-friendly websites optimized for different devices and browsers
- Write efficient and well-documented code using languages such as HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript
- Create and manage databases for website functionality
- Test, debug, analyze and fix application problems/issues to ensure the website is functioning correctly
- Ensure website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information
- Participate in code reviews in accordance with program specifications and coding standards, practices and conventions, new designs, changes and enhancements
- Execute assignments with the use of web applications, scripts and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and APIs
- Edit, write, or design Website content, and direct team members who produce content
- Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
- Work closely with the team for various web/tech assignments and prepare technical specifications
- Participate and lead software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to review business and functional requirements and to determine project scopes and specifications
- Interact with stakeholders (internal and external) to support product releases and/or resolve program issues on time
- Supervise, monitor and direct Jr. Web Developers on the given tasks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure the website is safe and up-to-date
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Application or in a related field
- Candidate must have at least 2 years of strong hands-on experience with CMS like WordPress and web development technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Database Management, Laravel, CodeIgniter, MySQL, HTML5, Bootstrap and CSS
- Expertise in JavaScript and JQuery
- Good knowledge of PHP language, API creation and Integration
- Must have expertise in website development
- Knowledge of keyword placement and other SEO best practices is a plus, as is experience in Magento
- E-Commerce development.
- Thorough understanding of Web application functionality, including security, Session management and best development practices
- Thorough understanding of Relational Database Systems, Object Oriented Programming and Web application development
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask with minimal to moderate guidance
