Build and review the design documents and verification plan mapping to all the requirements including key performance reliability requirements.
Ensure the design performance meets the requirements, stays in sync with the Manufacturability and Serviceability, and achieve the cost/reliability target.
To work with the sourcing team and the supplier to coordinate the manufacturing and provide detailed requirement for FCT of PCBA to make sure the PCBA from production line can meet design requirement.
Continuously learns and grow technical depth and knowledge across product lines.
Technical Skills:
experience in hardware design and development in embedded system design with 8/16/32-bit microprocessor design.
Should have demonstrated proficiency in working with system / software / Firmware / hardware / Electrical requirements development and validation.
Strong understanding of Hardware life cycle and product life cycle.
Strong knowledge in alternate design analysis/part substitute for cost out ideas and obsolescence management including design analysis for quality, reliability, power consumption, timing parameters etc.
Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, or similar).
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
Knowledge of PCB design and layout techniques.
Familiarity with software development for hardware integration (e.g., C, C++).
Understanding of signal integrity, power management, and thermal analysis.
Ability to conduct simulations and modeling for hardware components.
Should have good knowledge on the compliance requirement should support product regulatory compliance testing including EMC/EMI, CE, UL, MARINE and RoHS. etc.
Proficient in debugging instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers)
Experience in practices for Design for Test (DFT), DFR and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) background.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills.
Strong knowledge on FPGA/CPLD based Design with programming using HDL.
Desired Prior Experiences:
Bachelor s or master s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
12+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
Proven track record of managing hardware projects from concept to production.
Experience in collaborating with software teams on integrated systems.
Previous work in industries such as industrial automation is plus.
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in Electronics Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or Electronics Instrumentation.
