Finance Controller Profile - MECON PROJECTS PVT. LTD.

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

- Funding & Payment Management: Oversee and manage daily business-related funding activities, including operational payments, ensuring payments are executed independently without any escalations.

- Cash Flow & Banking Activities: Track and manage daily fund movements, ensuring smooth cash flow operations. Coordinate with banks and manage daily banking activities efficiently.

- Process Management & Escalation Resolution: Understand and manage the internal work processes, resolving escalations independently and ensuring timely resolution of any issues.

- Payment Validation & Processing: Ensure all payments are validated and processed within specified timelines, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

- Audit Support: Assist the team head in audit preparations by providing necessary data and documentation as per the audit timeline. Collaborate with internal teams for auditrelated tasks.

- Reporting & Documentation: Distribute daily bank statements to relevant teams and authenticate financial data, providing reports to both the team head and the bank.

- Communication & Query Resolution: Address and resolve queries related to payments, banking, and transactions via calls or emails in a timely manner.

- Team Support: Assist and collaborate with various teams for daily and monthly activities, ensuring smooth and timely execution of tasks.

Daily Activities:

- Generate Service Requests (SR) and arrange funds as per business requirements.

- Execute internal bank account transfers when necessary, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately.

- Monitor and control financial transactions, ensuring the end-of-day (EOD) activities are completed efficiently.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.

- Advanced proficiency in GST, Tally ERP 09, TDS (WINMAN Software), MS Office, MIS reports, and BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statements).

- Excellent presentation skills, relationship-building capabilities, and organizational skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities effectively and work under pressure.

- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and resilient in facing unforeseen work challenges.

Experience Required:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in finance-related roles, particularly in accounting, banking, and fund management.
