MTAP Technologies - Android Developer - Java/SDK (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality, performant Android applications for smartphones and tablets.

- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate concepts into user-friendly features.

- Leverage your expertise in Core Java and the Android SDK to develop robust and scalable applications.

- Integrate and consume data from JSON/XML-based web services using APIs/gRPC and HTTP/2 protocols.

- Effectively utilize Android development tools and stay up-to-date with the latest SDK versions.

- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Identify and resolve bugs to maintain a smooth user experience.

- Adhere to coding best practices for maintainable and readable code.

Skills & Technologies :

Essential :

- 3-5 years of experience in the mobile development life cycle (design, build, maintain)

- Proficient in Java and the Android SDK

- Strong understanding of XML and JSON data formats

- Experience with integrating web services through APIs/gRPC and HTTP/2

- Familiarity with Android development tools (e.g, Android Studio)

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Plus Points :

- Experience with Kotlin

- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
