Azure Architect

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation processes. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our software development and delivery pipelines, ensuring that code is seamlessly integrated, tested, and deployed across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Integrate GitHub repositories with Azure DevOps and Jenkins to ensure smooth code flow and automated builds.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar.
• Ensure consistent and reproducible environments across dev, QA, and production using IaC practices.

Configuration Management:

• Implement and manage configuration management practices using Ansible, Chef, or similar tools.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure on cloud platforms, primarily Azure.

Monitoring & Logging:

• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure.
• Implement alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Provide training and support to developers on best practices for CI/CD and version control with GitHub.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure pipelines are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Version Control:

• Manage and maintain GitHub repositories, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Ensure version control best practices are followed across all projects.

Performance Optimization:

• Continuously improve pipeline performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations.
• Regularly review and enhance build and deployment processes to increase efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.
• Generate and present reports on build status, deployment metrics, and other key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).13 to 15 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Experience integrating and managing GitHub repositories within CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, including pipeline scripting (Jenkinsfile) and plugin management.
• In-depth knowledge of Git and GitHub, including actions, workflows, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
