Java Design Architect - Microservices Architecture (10-15 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Design Architect with strong hands-on development expertise to join our team.

This role requires a unique blend of architectural vision and practical coding skills.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable microservices architectures on AWS, while also contributing to the development effort using Java and related technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

- Contribute significantly to hands-on backend development, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code.

- Architect and implement solutions on the AWS cloud platform, leveraging relevant services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.

- Design and integrate messaging systems using Kafka.

- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

- Mentor and guide junior developers.

- Proactively identify and resolve architectural and technical challenges.

- Ensure adherence to coding best practices and architectural principles.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience (7+ years) in Java development and related technologies (Spring Boot, JVM).

- Proven ability to independently design and implement scalable systems.

- Deep understanding of microservices architecture principles and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and relevant services.

- Expertise in designing and integrating messaging systems using Kafka.

- Strong understanding of backend development principles and architecture scalability.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with front-end technologies (React.js).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
