SAP Yard Logistics Consultant - Supply Chain Management (8-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and configure SAP Yard Logistics (SAP YL) solutions to streamline yard operations.

- Design and optimize yard planning, execution, and monitoring processes.

- Integrate SAP YL with SAP EWM, SAP TM, and SAP S/4HANA for end-to-end supply chain visibility.

- Configure yard resource management, dock scheduling, and gate processes.

- Customize yard logistics cockpit, visualization, and automation tools.

- Analyze business requirements and provide technical and functional solutions.

- Work with RFID, IoT, and barcode scanning technologies for real-time yard tracking.

- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of SAP YL applications.

- Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management with at least 2+ years in SAP Yard Logistics.

- Expertise in SAP YL processes such as dock appointment scheduling, yard operations, and task execution.

- Experience with SAP EWM, SAP TM, and SAP S/4HANA integration.

- Knowledge of Yard Cockpit customization and UI5-based Fiori applications.

- Understanding of RFID, IoT, GPS tracking, and real-time data monitoring.

- Strong knowledge of ABAP debugging, BAPIs, and BADIs (nice to have).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP YL certification is a plus.

- Experience in automation tools, machine learning, or AI-driven yard logistics solutions.

- Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions like SAP BTP.
