Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Operations Executive. In this role, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of MoveABox.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating and managing day-to-day logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of shipments.
  • Support the operations team in optimizing route planning and vehicle utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipments, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer service, and finance to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with logistics software and tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
