Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality standards. They will assist the Project Manager in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and the head office team to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor progress and report any deviations from the project timeline.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.

Quantity Survey & Billing:

• Conduct on-site measurement and verification of work completed.
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and material consumption reports.
• Assist in preparing bills for contractors and suppliers based on work completed.
• Coordinate with the head office procurement team for material requirements and stock maintenance.

Quality Control & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all construction materials and workmanship meet specified quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify defects or safety hazards.
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure workers follow safety guidelines.

Coordination & Documentation:

• Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, material inventory, and labor attendance.
• Work closely with architects, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and provide regular updates on work progress.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining site documentation, including RFIs, work permits, and inspection reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in site execution, preferably in residential or hillside construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Ability to handle site challenges and work in a remote/hilly environment.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
