Job Description
- Good knowledge of all kind of injection and compression mould
- Required knowledge of jigs and fixture Design
- Must be having a knowledge in mould design for defining draft angles, parting lines, lifters & sliders
- Good knowledge of plastic materials & Tooling Materials
- Should have knowledge in moulding defects and product design workarounds
- Knowledge in 2d drawing reading and GD&T
- Preferred to have mould design educational background or industry experience
- Knowledge in ISO documentation and preparing ISO manuals
- Having knowledge of Designing process like DFM, Mould flow
- Ensuring that products meet functional requirements by designing moulds with required features such as vents or gates
- Working with customers to determine needs and requirements, such as material specifications, product details
- Designing moulds that can produce a high volume of products while minimizing material usage and production times
- Hands on experience in designing software of 3D & 2D in solidedge,NX & AutoCAD preferred first
