Job Profile.
Delivering a broad range of Environmental, Social & Gender projects and advisory services.
Screening and scoping studies.
Reviewing technical reports produced by others.
Management of Social and Gender issues during the construction phase of projects.
Social and gender baseline collection.
Social and gender impact assessment.
Rehabilitation and resettlement.
Land acquisition.
Gender Action Plan and inclusivity.
Public consultation, disclosure and stakeholder engagement planning.
Labour rights management planning and auditing.
Ecosystems services and livelihoods.
Gender analysis and management planning.
Indigenous people development as per IFC performance standard/ world bank guidelines.
Should be conversant to IFC, World bank guidelines, equator principle.
Working with the wider multidisciplinary team across different sectors (infrastructure, industries and energy).
Desired Qualification And Experience.
Masters qualification in a discipline related to sociology, anthropology, social or international development.
Candidate should have 8 to 10 yearsexperience.
Experience in carrying out SIAs, due diligence reviews / construction monitoring and resettlement action plans for infrastructure projects.
Demonstrable knowledge of social and gender assignments and relevant legislation.
Proposal writingor otherbusiness development activities would be advantageous.
Flexible to work away from your home office and travel within and outside India.
Experience with project developers, international lenders including multilateral development and private banks, and governments.
Fluency in English, excellent communication and report writing skills.
