Executive - Accountant

Responsibilities
Recording transactions in compliance with accounting principles
Preparing and entering invoices, bills, checks etc.
Reconciling discrepancies in financial entries
Assisting with TDS taxation including filing returns
Assisting with GST workings, reports and returns
Preparing balance sheets, Profit & Loss a/c
Adhering to accounting control procedures
Complying with month, quarter and year-end close processes
Maintaining general ledgers
Accounting of Accounts payables
Accounting of Accounts receivables
Co-ordinate and complete statutory & other relevant audits

To take on the accountant job description effectively requires:
Technical Expertise Sound conceptual understanding of basic accounting like double entry bookkeeping, credits/debits, GAAP, cost accounting etc. is a must.
Software Skills Proficiency in using financial management systems like SAP B1 and Tally Prime. along with Excel at an advanced level.
Analytics Mindset Accountants sift through enormous transactional data to spot patterns, anomalies and insights critical for decision making. Meticulous number crunching skills matter greatly.
Communication Ability Intra department and Inter department communication skills in verbal as well in writing are essential.
