Export/Import Documentation Head

Location: Umbergaon ( KHATALWADA PLANT)

Experience: 10-15 Years
Qualification: MBA in International Business or Diploma in Foreign Trade (or equivalent)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Export/Import Documentation Head to oversee and manage all aspects of international trade documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export/import operations, knowledge of banking procedures, Letters of Credit (LC), Custom House Agents (CHA), Bill of Entry (BE), and pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation. The candidate must have experience in managing freight negotiations and handling export licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end documentation for export and import shipments, ensuring compliance with international and domestic regulations.
• Manage banking processes, including the preparation and negotiation of Letters of Credit (LC).
• Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) and other stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare pre-shipment and post-shipment documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage logistics to ensure cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Ensure compliance with export licenses, customs duties, and other regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of export/import documentation processes.
• Strong understanding of banking procedures and Letters of Credit (LC).
• Proficiency in pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
• Experience in freight negotiation and logistics management.
• Familiarity with export licenses and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Qualification and Experience:

• MBA in International Business/Trade or Diploma in Foreign Trade.
• At least 10-15 years of experience in export/import documentation, with exposure to international trade and logistics operations.
• Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
