Sr. Asterisks Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Asterisk Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to lead our VoIP development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Asterisk, a deep understanding of VoIP technologies, and proven experience in managing and mentoring a team. As a Senior Asterisk Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Asterisk-based communication systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

 • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Asterisk development.

 • Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, etc.) and telecommunication systems.

 • Proven experience in leading and managing a development team.

 • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.

 • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and networking concepts.

 • Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and APIs.

 • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

 • Experience with other VoIP platforms such as FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or OpenSIPS.

 • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

 • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
