Senior Executive- Production

Job Summary:
The Sr. Executive Production will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes at Kumar Auto Sales. The role requires strong knowledge of IATF standards and experience in their implementation within a production environment. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the production lines operate efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:
• Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring that manufacturing targets are met in terms of quality, quantity, and timelines.
• Monitor and manage production schedules, resources, and workflow to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the supervisors team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• IATF Standards Implementation:
• Lead the implementation of IATF standards in the production process, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify gaps in compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Train production staff on IATF standards and best practices to ensure adherence across the production floor.
• Quality Assurance:
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to reduce defects and improve overall product quality.
• Address any quality issues promptly, working with the team to find root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Use lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes and improve overall workflow.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep production processes at the cutting edge.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying training needs.
• Promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in implementing IATF standards in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with production planning and management tools.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Knowledge of other relevant standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
