Monocept - Senior Software Engineer - Java Technologies (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Role & responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.

- Architect and build microservices using Spring Boot and other Java frameworks.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Implement AWS-based solutions to ensure cloud scalability, availability, and performance.

- Optimize application performance and ensure the security of back-end systems.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.

- Manage software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term fixes.

Key Skills :

- Expert-level proficiency in Java (8+), with deep understanding of object-oriented principles.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices development.

- Solid experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and RDS.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization strategies.

- Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Ability to lead a team, manage projects, and collaborate across multiple teams.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
