Position: Project Architect

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of architectural work, from initial concept through construction administration. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare feasibility reports for new project proposals.
• Develop briefs for new developments and coordinate the appointment of consultants.
• Design buildings, plotted developments, and interiors according to project briefs.
• Manage projects from initial design stages through to handover and the end of the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
• Coordinate with inhouse departments, external consultants, and onsite teams to ensure project alignment.
• Identify and resolve issues related to projects in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Liaise with various authorities alongside liaison staff, ensuring all necessary certifications are issued.
• Optionally submit project proposals to authorities in the architect's name.
• Maintain updated records of drawings and project data.

Experience:-

15 to 20 years of experience in architectural practice.

Experience in liaison work with various authorities.

Familiarity with AutoDCR (Automated Building Plan Approval System).

Experience working with developers in the architectural field.

Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch).

Registration with the Council of Architecture.

Extensive experience and thorough knowledge of redevelopment projects in Mumbai, including legal requirements from relevant authorities.

Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp for presentations and submissions.
