Job Description
- Please note - In MNH the Requisition Title shows Software Engineer but the designation is Windows Operations Engineer
- Windows JD Good knowledge on DNS DHCP
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related software
- Knowledge on Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers
- Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
- Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime
- Implement security measures to protect the organizations server and virtualization infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on Windows Server and VMware-related issues
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security
- Troubleshoot server-related problems and provide timely resolution to incidents and service requests
- Monitor VMware environment health and performance using tools such as vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) or similar
- Implement disaster recovery solutions for VMware environments, ensuring data protection and business continuity
- Configure and maintain Domain Name System (DNS) services for internal and external network resolution
- Manage DNS zones, including forward and reverse lookup zones, and ensure proper domain name resolution
