Software Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze requirements (FRS, Design, Solution Architect document) and prepare a query list. If requirements are incomplete, then need to ask meaningful questions that will yield more information and help perform testing effectively.

• Write and execute test cases to find system bugs like UI and usability issues, etc.
• Check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems;
• Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Provide timely solutions.
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Identifying if the process of testing is going in sync with the software development • Preparing the status report of testing activities
• Sharing updates on testing with the project manager
• Planning pre and post-test meetings
• Provide support and ensure that test-product documentation is complete.

Preferred candidate profile

• Required prior 2years work experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent degree. •

Experience in preparing and executing Test cases for software application.
