Data Scientist (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role requires expertise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Analysis and Modeling :

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical techniques.

- Develop predictive models using machine learning and deep learning algorithms to solve business problems.

2. Natural Language Processing (NLP) :

- Implement NLP techniques to analyze textual data and derive insights from unstructured data sources.

- Build and optimize models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, text classification, and entity recognition.

3. Time Series Analysis :

- Conduct time series analysis and forecasting to support business decision-making and trend analysis.

- Develop models to predict future values based on historical data.

4. Generative AI (GenAI) :

- Explore and implement generative AI techniques to enhance existing models and create innovative solutions.

- Stay updated on advancements in generative AI and assess their applicability to business use cases.

5. Cloud Integration :

- Utilize cloud platforms for data storage, processing, and model deployment.

- Ensure scalability and efficiency of data science solutions by leveraging cloud technologies.

6. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and requirements.

- Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

- Strong knowledge of NLP techniques and libraries (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy, Hugging Face).

- Experience with time series analysis and forecasting methodologies.

Programming Skills :

- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn).

Cloud Technologies : Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and model deployment.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
