Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies (10-14 yrs)

Job Description :

Agile Methodologies :

- Proficiency in Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

- Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and how to foster an Agile culture within teams.

Scrum Practices & Tools :

- Experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).

- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or any other Agile project management software.

- Ability to manage sprint backlog, burndown charts, and ensure smooth flow of sprints.

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Strong ability to coach and guide development teams, product owners, and stakeholders in Scrum practices.

- Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to remove impediments and enhance team performance.

- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills to support the team in achieving high productivity.

Project Management :

- Proven experience in managing multiple Agile projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.

- Ability to align project scope with business goals and deliver incremental value in short iterations.

- Solid experience in working with cross-functional teams, aligning them with product roadmaps and company objectives.

Stakeholder Management :

- Experience in working closely with product owners, ensuring clear communication of goals, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparency on project progress, risks, and issues.

Continuous Improvement :

- Facilitate retrospectives to reflect on team performance and identify areas of improvement.

- Promote continuous integration, test automation, and code reviews as part of the Agile process.

- Encourage teams to adopt best practices, optimize workflows, and improve velocity.

Risk Management & Impediment Removal :

- Identify potential risks and impediments early and work with teams to mitigate them.

- Foster an environment of transparency and openness where teams feel comfortable discussing challenges.

Technological Awareness (Preferred) :

- Familiarity with software development practices and lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, version control systems).

- Understanding of technologies like Java, Python, or .NET in software development environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Coach, or equivalent certifications.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience in working within large-scale, complex Agile environments.

- Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) is an added advantage.
