Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Executive to oversee and manage all HR-related functions, including worker management and contractor coordination. This individual will play a key role in fostering a positive work culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring smooth operations within our manufacturing facility.

We're looking for someone who can handle overall HR-related tasks and coordinate with workers and contractors.




Role & responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Staffing:
    Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and hiring employees, particularly for daily wage workers. Coordinate with contractors and recruitment agencies to fulfill staffing needs.
  2. Employee Management:
    Handle the onboarding and offboarding process for employees and workers.
    Maintain accurate records of employee details, attendance, leave management, and performance. Address employee concerns and resolve issues related to HR policies and procedures.
  3. Contractor Coordination:
    Coordinate with contractors for managing daily wage workers, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Ensure that contractors meet all legal and safety regulations regarding worker management.
  4. Payroll & Compensation:
    Oversee payroll processing for daily wage workers and salaried employees. Ensure timely payment of wages and bonuses, as per company policies and legal requirements. Maintain records of work hours and other related compensation details.
  5. Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure the company adheres to all local, state, and central labor laws, including those related to worker welfare, safety, and compensation. Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, agreements, and HR-related documentation.
  6. Reporting & Communication:
    Provide regular reports on HR metrics such as employee attendance, salary, and contractor performance. Liaise with senior management and provide updates on HR activities, challenges, and improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Ability to handle and resolve employee issues and grievances.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing daily wage workers and contractors in a manufacturing environment.
