Senior Pimcore Developer - PIM - eCommerce Solutions (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

As a Senior Pimcore Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Pimcore-based applications, including data management, e-commerce platforms, and content management systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, frontend developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing Pimcore for performance, scalability, and user experience while adhering to best practices and maintaining a high code quality standard.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Pimcore-based solutions, including Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), and eCommerce platforms.

- Develop scalable, high-performance applications to manage large volumes of data and support complex business workflows.

- Customize and extend Pimcore functionalities by developing plugins, components, and modules based on client requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and create technical specifications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Pimcore solutions to ensure high availability and performance.

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, reviewing code and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

- Stay up to date with the latest Pimcore features, industry trends, and technologies to continuously improve and innovate solutions.

- Integrate Pimcore with third-party services such as ERP, CRM, and marketing platforms through RESTful APIs and other interfaces.

- Manage and optimize database queries and data structures for high-performance applications.

- Work closely with DevOps to ensure seamless deployments, including cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with at least 3 years of experience working with Pimcore.

- Expertise in Pimcore CMS, PIM, DAM, and eCommerce solutions.

- Proficient in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).

- Experience developing Pimcore plugins, modules, and customizations.

- Familiar with Symfony framework.

- Skilled in integrating Pimcore with third-party systems via RESTful APIs.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

- Certification in Pimcore is a plus
