Job Description
- Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior developer in Reference Data Technology
- As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for supporting an Operations team in a high-pressure environment where timeliness and quality of data are of utmost importance
- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architecture and design, with full-stack development experience in Angular, Java and SQL
- In addition to technical prowess, the candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with users and translate their requirements into appropriate solutions
- This role will involve working on a variety of innovative and challenging projects, and the candidate should be a creative problem solver, attentive to detail, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Data vendors, Data Mastering platform to provide high quality tooling and solutions to business problems
- Identify commonly used components and create packages building reusable code
- Work closely with QA and Support teams to ensure high quality software releases and supportability
- Translate UX design into workable angular components
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to reference data technology
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Java, Angular, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Master Data Management.
- Experience working with AWS Cloud.
- Exposure to AI technologies.
- Python is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
