Miles Education - Django Developer (3-7 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Django Developer with a strong background in developing robust web applications. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Django, Python, and related web development frameworks, showcasing the ability to build and maintain scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django and Python.

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

- Develop APIs and integrate them with front-end systems.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Implement security measures and data protection protocols.

- Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless performance.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following

- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Django and web development.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team for deployment and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

- Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and scalable solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 2+ years of professional experience in Django and Python development.

- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

- Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.

- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP).

- Knowledge of security best practices in web applications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Knowledge of asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis).
