JR50958 Senior Test Firmware Engineer

The general responsibilities of the position are the following:

• In depth knowledge and extensive experience with embedded firmware development and test
• Develop and maintain manufacturing Firmware for testing of SSDs.
• Build the Manufacturing FW to self-test SSDs during the development phase
• Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments
• Extensive experience programming in C++ & drive continuous improvement initiatives in terms of test coverage through optimization of code.
• Experience in the storage industry in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology
• Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS
• Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage & ensure SSD are tested to meet or exceed the required functionality, usability, quality/reliability and performance with an efficient manufacturing firmware.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of day-to-day supervision
• Experience with team leadership and/or supervising junior engineers and technicians
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team and under the pressure of multiple priorities
