As a Technology Development Device Reliability Engineer, you will join a worldwide team responsible for characterization and assessment of multitude of reliability mechanisms, with the goal of achieving successful introduction qualification of new technologies into Microns end products
You will work in a highly interdisciplinary ecosystem closely engaging and collaborating with members from design, product, process, and quality engineering teams
Job responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement test methodologies to evaluate device, component circuit-level reliability
Analyze and summarize characterization data and create reports to deliver decision-ready, actionable recommendations for guiding technology development
Closely work with Process Integration, characterization and param teams to investigate KPIs for process convergence
Integrate other data sources (inline metro, param, probe) and leverage Data Science methods to improve predictive capabilities decision quality
Transfer methodologies and development learning to cross-functional teams to support successful and efficient qualifications and regular reliability line monitoring for manufacturing quality control
Pursue and drive innovative solutions to Micron's and the industry's reliability challenges
Requirements
Possess a broad understanding of semiconductor device physics, fabrication, and reliability
Familiarity with simulation tools eg SPICE
Understand the fundamental operation and characteristics of passive and active devices used to build memory products (DRAM, NAND, other)
Strong data analysis skills and experience in applied statistics for reliability analysis
Familiarity with statistical software packages (JMP, others) is desired
Programming skills (C/C++, Python, JMP JSL) to expedite summary generation
Experience in the operation of semiconductor lab instrumentation used for electrical characterization (Parameter Analyzers, Pulse Generators, Capacitance Meters, Wafer Probers, other tools)
