As a Non-Volatile Memory QRA (NVMQRA) CXL Quality and Reliability Test Development Senior Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc, you will be responsible for Designing, developing and debugging complex test programs used to validate Micron's CXL products qualification
These test programs, and any associated tools, will be applied from early in the product development cycle through the qualification till the end of life
You will be required to write and maintain code that runs on automated equipment to verify the reliability of the device-under-test (DUT) to a given set of conditions
Additional software responsibilities may include the development and overall management of the CXL qualification database
You may also participate in the design and checkout of the hardware that is used to interface between the tester and the DUT
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Test flow development for qualification
Design, develop and implement test procedures to assess the reliability of products
Deliver test program on time with high quality
Follow best coding practices and process
Develop automated test scripts using Python and other relevant tools
Work closely with qualification teams to generate test flow aligned with qual strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system testing strategies align with business goals and customer needs
Provide technical expertise to internal/external customer
Collaborate with customer to develop custom test methods based on application usage model
Communicate directly with customer as needed
Review Customer qualification specifications
Provide risk assessment to customer
Assess customer feedback and communicate them internally
Provide Expertise and Consultation
Support Global Qual Meetings
On-board new team members
Train, mentor, and develop new talent
Interface with engineering groups on quality issues
Requirement
Computer Science engineering or related field background with BS degree or above
Python and object oriented SW code development experience 5+ years
Fluent English in both verbal and written
Deep knowledge of semiconductor memory and data storage products
A solid understanding of industry-standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics
Strong experience in SSD/Modules Test Development and technical standards such as PCIe/NVMe/CXL will be preferred
