Job Description
Work within an agile development team, design, develop and execute test cases for Microstrategy cloud offerings deployed on AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud.
Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, advocating for the user to enhance the overall user experience.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans for cloud-based applications and services, ensuring coverage of functional, performance, security, and scalability requirements. Create automated test scripts and integrate them into pipelines to facilitate continuous testing.
Define and implement quality standards, maintain a fully automated testing operation to ensure consistent product quality and performance across releases.
Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.
Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required; degree and/or significant coursework in computer science, or similar engineering program
1-2 years of professional experience preferred; training and professional development will be provided.
Functional knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP. Industry-recognized certifications are a strong plus.
Knowledge & hands-on experience with Containerization Infrastructures like Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience building automated test scripts using tools such as WebdriverIO, Pytest, Cucumber, and JMeter.
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, TypeScript, HCL, or similar.
Experience with major databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with both IT and non-IT colleagues.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Process-driven with a keen attention to detail; ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritize effectively.
