Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. You will work closely with our data science and engineering teams to derive insights from data and build models that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
- Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with software engineers and analysts to integrate data-driven solutions into production systems.
- Present insights through visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn .
- Assist in the documentation of data science processes and findings.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field .
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R .
- Knowledge of machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch .
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Understanding of statistics, probability, and data analytics .
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or deep learning .
- Previous internship or project experience in data science.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced data-driven environment.
- Mentorship from experienced data scientists and engineers.
