Position : Technical Sales Specialist


Location : Bengaluru


Experience : 3 to 5 yrs


Key Responsibilities :


Lead Generation & Prospecting:


- Identify, qualify, and engage with potential leads through various channels (outbound sales, networking, inbound marketing, referrals, etc.) primarily within North America and Europe.


Sales Cycle Management:


- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to revenue generation.


Customer Needs Analysis:


- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points, offering tailored software and mechanical solutions.


- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales strategies and ensure timely delivery of solutions.


- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends, industry needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies effectively.


Client Relationship Management:


- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.


Preferred Skills:


Proposal Creation & Negotiation:


- Develop compelling proposals, quotations, and technical documentation. Collaborate with engineering teams to create custom solutions based on client needs. RFP/RFQ Responses:


- Lead the preparation and submission of comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer specifications.


Estimates & Pricing:


- Provide accurate pricing and cost estimates for solutions, working with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.


- Sales Reporting: Track sales performance and progress against revenue targets, providing regular reports to the Sales Manager/Director.


Qualifications:


- Degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.


- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, with a strong background in both software and mechanical product sales.


- Proven track record in lead generation, full sales cycle management, proposal creation, and responding to RFPs/RFQs.


- Experience working in North American and European markets, with a strong understanding of their business landscapes.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.


- Strong time management and organizational skills.
