Job Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the steel industry through market research, lead generation, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide suitable steel product solutions.
- Present and promote our range of steel products and services to clients, including conducting product demonstrations and delivering sales presentations.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop strategies and marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and potential risks.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the steel industry or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of the steel industry, including knowledge of different steel products, applications, and market dynamics.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer data, and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Educational qualifications preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
