Job Description
- Implement and maintain robust security controls to protect user data, prevent
unauthorized access, and ensure platform integrity. - Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive security incident and response (SIR) plan.
- Collaborate with developers to build security best practices into the development
lifecycle (DevSecOps). - Document security policies and procedures.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes using DevOps tools and methodologies
(CI/CD). - Configure and manage infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, scalability,
and security. - Monitor and maintain system health and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of
the platform.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or
equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar role.
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of security best practices (OWASP, CWE).
- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (penetration testing,
vulnerability scanning). - Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS (AWS Security best practices a plus).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) (a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
