Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded C development, board bring-up, and expertise in serial protocol analysis, including Modbus.

The role involves working with 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers and developing firmware solutions for industrial applications.

This position is based at the customer's location in Pune.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.

- Perform board bring-up tasks, including configuring hardware components and verifying board functionality.

- Analyze and implement serial communication protocols, with a focus on Modbus.

- Work on debugging, optimizing, and troubleshooting firmware for industrial applications.

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.

- Ensure firmware is designed with scalability, performance, and security in mind.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, firmware specifications, and testing procedures.

- Provide technical support for firmware during product development and post-deployment phases.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience (4 to 6 years) in Embedded C development.

- Strong knowledge of Modbus and experience with serial protocol analysis.

- Experience with board bring-up and firmware development for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.

- Ability to debug, test, and optimize firmware for real-time applications.

- Familiarity with industrial domain requirements and standards is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
