Vice President - Hedge Fund Audit - CA/CPA (12-18 yrs)

We are looking for Vice President of Fund Audit & Management for a Financial MNC client in Mumbai ( North Mumbai)

Working Hours: 2PM - 11PM

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a individual who will be part of Global fund team and responsible for:

1. Drives the onboarding of new funds, streamlining the process and minimizing onboarding time. Works closely with the Fund Administrator to optimize fund operations and ensure smooth transitions.

2. Plays a key role in the budgeting cycle, providing accurate financial forecasts and recommendations.

3. Responsible for accurate NAV calculations, financial modeling, financial audit and analysis of fund performance. Conducts financial statement analysis, Regulatory Reporting filings audits, and pricing of Alternative Investment funds. Individual also directly/ indirectly involved in the tax return for all funds.

4. Closely working with Stakeholder in US & Uk and also working with client stakeholders as well.

5. Actively monitor third-ty service providers to identify potential issues and improve performance.

6. Drive the preparation of high quality board meeting materials to inform decision-making.

7. Foster strong relationships with external service providers to optimize fund operations and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

Candidate Profile:

1. Seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in Hedge Fund or Private Equity Fund Reporting or Fund Audit experience.

2. In depth knowledge of Partnership Accounting as per US accounting principles, including NAV review and signoff, financial statement analysis, and regulatory reporting and audit.

3. Strong leadership skills combined with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

- Candidate must be CA or CPA.
