Job Description
Roles Responsibility:
- Release of Automotive components by building the BOM with Product Data Management through PLM Tools, (NX) and support in Change Management Activity
- Part Positioning and Trafo Updations
- Creation of Software/Flashwares, Storage of Software in EDLS server, Mapping of Code data to Flashware /Software in EPDM
- Assigning/Creating Part No s for Software Hardware components
- Checking, storing, Releasing CAD Data and Drawing (Basic NX)
- Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement.
- Creating BOM and maintaining product documentation for all Mercedes-Benz - car lines by understanding business requirements and interacting with German counter parts
- Consultation with design engineers and understand the intent of creation of engineering change notice and the actions within the Engineering change notice.
- Perform standard part creation using Unigraphics NX
- Cross functional responsibility to coordinate with process and method team and maintain quality standards as required.
- Ensure knowledge is shared across the team members.
- To manage risks and issues impacting project deliverables
- Seamless integration with the Team in India German
About the company:
Qualifications
B.E (Mechanical / Production/Automotive),
Experience: 2 years to 6years
Mandatory Skills:
- Product Data Management and Documentation Activity, Releases through PLM Tool (team centre)
- Good knowledge on PLM aspects and basic life cycle of parts release
- Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control, Structure Level BOM management.
- Release knowledge of Automotive components/ Electronics (Hardware Software), functional relationships of automotive systems and components
- Knowhow of CAD Tools (NX)
- Must be a Team Player also shoulder individual responsibility with little supervision
- Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation
- Excellent in communication and coordinatio
Desired skills:
- Intercultural Experience: Minimum one years of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients. Must be able to interact with the German teams.
- German Language will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skills
- Experience in MB Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD (Optional)
- Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales, etc )
- Knowledge of Mercedes Benz cars portfolio will be an added advantage.
