Job Description
1. Technical Leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert in the relevant technology or domain.
- Guide the team in technical design, best practices, and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate architectural discussions and provide input to the Solution/Enterprise Architect to align with long-term architectural goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical efforts with business objectives.
- Work with System Architects and other teams to ensure consistent design and integration across Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage open communication, feedback, and problem-solving.
- Support the team during PI (Program Increment) Planning by helping to break down features into user stories and identify technical dependencies.
- Provide technical insights during PI planning sessions to help the team create realistic and achievable objectives.
- Help to manage and mitigate technical risks and dependencies, proactively identifying potential issues that may impact delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and practices, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
- Encourage the team to identify and eliminate technical debt, enabling the team to maintain a sustainable pace.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing lessons learned.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and enhance their understanding of the SAFe framework and Agile practices.
- Support team members in their technical and personal growth by providing feedback and guidance.
- Foster a sense of ownership within the team, encouraging them to take responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on technical progress, challenges, and decisions.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear and understandable.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by keeping them informed of the team s progress and any risks or dependencies that could impact project timelines.
- Advocate for and support SAFe practices and principles within the team.
- Participate actively in SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
- Help the team maintain a cadence of continuous delivery while achieving high standards for quality, security, and performance.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Project/Technical Lead helps guide the team to deliver valuable solutions that are aligned with the larger organizational strategy, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing Agile environment.
Qualifications
- B.Tech IT/CS - Full Degree
- Experience in s/w development 8-12 Years.
