POSITION OVERVIEW:
- This role involves strategic planning, P&L management and sales team leadership to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company objectives to achieve revenue targets
- Oversee the sales department's P&L, ensuring profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Study the unique characteristics, needs, and trends of the local customer base to tailor products, services, and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Monitor competitors pricing, product offerings, and customer engagement tactics to identify market gaps and opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Set clear sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to ensure objectives are met.
- Work closely with marketing, product development and finance teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You need to be a rockstar with proven sales track record and/or very good problem solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree from Top Tier commerce / engineering schools (PG/MBA good to have)
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle unexpected changes or challenges.
- Multilingual is a bonus
