Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

Plumbing & Fire fighting Design Engineer For Design Of Building Sector.

Desired profile of the candidate:

1. Should be able to prepare design and detailed
1. Plumbing and fire fighting drgs
2. Schematics
3. BOQ,
4. technical specifications,
5. technical data sheet
6. Preparation of MEPF design basis report
7. Cost estimation of plumbing and fire fighting BOQ items
8. Knowledge in IS code, NBC, NFPA code etc.
2. Should be able to design Plumbing and Firefighting system including
1. Plumbing plans of building.
2. Water supply and drainage plans.
3. Basement drainage
4. UGT & OHT Sleeve
5. Fire fighting plans
6. Pump room detailed plan
7. Preparation of water flow schematic diagram for fire Protection and plumbing
3. Should be able to independently lead Plumbing design with l DRAUGHTING team with proper inputs to prepare good quality and technically acceptable drgs.
4. Work as Lead project coordinator for projects and well versed in verbal & written communication with adequate technical expertise.
5. Working Knowledge of AutoCAD software is must and must be able to work in AutoCAD software by own hand.
6. Should be able to check and approve shop drawings/site visit whenever required
7. Coordination with other trades viz. HVAC, Fire-fighting and Plumbing for preparation of integrated MEP drgs and providing power requirements for mechanical loads.
8. Should be able to do design calculations as under
1. Plumbing water fixture calculation
2. Plumbing & fire water piping sizing
3. Design of STP, WTP, ETP plant
4. Preparation of MEPF design basis report
5. Plumbing & fire water calculations with Water balance chart preparation
6. Plumbing and fire water pumping head and flow calculations
7. Water demand and tank sizing.
9. Should respond to clients requirement through mail and adhere to client timelines for deliverables.
10. Prepare and update MIS reports and deliverables schedules.
11. Resolve the RFI or comments raised by clients through mail or BIM 360 and provide proper reply on timely basis.
12. Ensuring the timeliness of the deliverables as per company’s requirement and good understanding with client, without creating any bad impact to company’s reputation.
13. Able to study architectural and Structural drgs and understanding the design intent and provide levels and floor and high level cutouts for electrical systems.
