Working closely with the team to present a commercial yet aspirational line Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques and seeking design inspiration
Ensure seasonal freshness of the collections in tune with international benchmarks and with aesthetics of the brands Selecting fabrics and trims in accordance to the latest trends.
Continuously introduce new products and styles across categories and add new categories every month Analyze performance of existing categories on a periodic basis to plan future collections
Well versed with Design softwares Strong graphic/ print design skills
Required Skills/Abilities:
The ideal candidate should be an extremely creative, go-getter, fast thinker and execution driven individual who is willing to take on tasks independently and take initiative to drive products from design to delivery.
The candidate should be able to handle design for multiple brands/ categories at any given time.
Demonstrate a high level of aesthetics and creativity with a strong understanding of youth culture. Demonstrate creative leadership High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
Strong Organizational skills and highly detailed oriented Strong communication & articulation of ideas.
Ability to manage deadlines and calendars
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:
5-8 years of experience in designing mens wear collections.
Strong understanding of fashion trends.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
A degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
